1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BarnReel, including our mobile application, website, software, services, and related features. By creating an account, accessing the app, uploading content, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using BarnReel on behalf of a business, barn, training organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. About BarnReel

BarnReel is a software platform designed to help horse trainers, equestrian professionals, owners, and clients manage horse training activity. The app may include features for video recording and upload, training notes, horse profiles, client communication, progress entries, scheduling, notifications, and related account management.

3. Accounts and responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep that information current.

You may not share your account in a way that avoids subscription limits, misrepresents your identity, or gives unauthorized users access to private horse, client, or organization information.

4. Organizations, trainers, clients, and permissions

Some accounts may belong to an organization, barn, training business, or similar group. Organization owners or administrators may control access to horses, clients, videos, schedules, training records, and other organization data.

If you are invited to an organization as a trainer, staff member, client, or owner, your access may be limited based on the permissions assigned to you. Organization owners are responsible for managing access appropriately.

5. User content

You may upload, create, or submit content through the app, including videos, photos, horse information, training notes, comments, progress entries, schedules, goals, and client communications. You retain ownership of your content.

By submitting content to BarnReel, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use that content only as necessary to operate, improve, secure, and support the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or share any content, including videos or images containing people, horses, barns, facilities, clients, staff, or third-party property.

6. Video uploads and recording

The app may allow users to record, upload, store, share, and comment on training videos. You are responsible for using these features lawfully and respectfully.

You agree not to upload videos that infringe the rights of others, violate privacy expectations, contain unlawful material, or include content you do not have permission to share with the selected audience.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Access, copy, or use another user’s data without permission.
  • Upload content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise the service.
  • Use automated scraping, crawling, or extraction tools without our written permission.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or content designed to damage the service or other users.

8. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscription prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and trial periods will be shown before purchase.

Paid subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the trial or current billing period. You are responsible for managing or cancelling your subscription through the platform or billing provider where you purchased it, such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment processor.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by the applicable app store, payment processor, or our refund policy. For purchases made through the Apple App Store, refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

If you download or use BarnReel through the Apple App Store, your use of the BarnReel iOS application is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
