BarnReel is designed to help horse trainers, equestrian professionals, owners, and clients manage training activity, videos, horse records, progress entries, schedules, comments, and related communications.

We may collect information such as your name, email address, password, account role, organization, subscription status, and account preferences.
Organization, trainer, client, and horse information
We may collect information related to organizations, trainers, clients, horse profiles, training goals, milestones, schedules, progress entries, comments, and related records you create or access in the app.
Videos, photos, and uploaded content
We may collect videos, photos, captions, thumbnails, file metadata, training notes, comments, and other content you upload or create through the app.
Device and usage information
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, log data, crash reports, feature usage, and diagnostic information.
Payment information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, app stores, or billing platforms. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited billing information such as subscription plan, renewal status, transaction identifiers, and payment status.
Communications
If you contact us, respond to emails, submit feedback, or request support, we may collect the information you choose to provide.

With users you choose to interact with
Content may be visible to trainers, clients, owners, staff members, or organization members depending on your account role, organization settings, sharing choices, and permissions.
With service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate the service, such as hosting providers, cloud storage providers, analytics services, customer support tools, email providers, push notification services, payment processors, and app store platforms.
For legal, safety, and security reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or respond to valid legal requests.
Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Video and media storage
Videos, photos, thumbnails, and related media may be stored using third-party cloud infrastructure. Media files may be processed to support playback, previews, compression, thumbnails, access control, security, and delivery across devices.
You should only upload media that you have the right to upload and share. Avoid uploading sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your use of the service.

If you enable notifications, we may send push notifications, emails, or in-app alerts related to training activity, uploaded videos, comments, schedules, reminders, invitations, account status, billing, and product updates.
You can manage push notification permissions through your device settings. Some transactional or account-related messages may still be sent where necessary to provide the service.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security of the service.
If your account is deleted, some information may be deleted or de-identified, while certain records may be retained where required by law, backup systems, fraud prevention, security, billing, or legitimate business purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no internet, mobile, cloud, or electronic storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong password and protecting access to your account and devices.
